One of the biggest challenges of removing a motor from a blower wheel
is accomplishing it without causing damage to the motor shaft,
which makes re-installation difficult.

The tool is designed to slide over the half-inch blower motor shaft (the tool has a flat spot to match the shape of the shaft) ... then, while you hold the fan securely with a gloved hand, the HVAC ShaftGripper is rotated to separate the motor shaft from the blower hub. It does this quickly, and without damaging the shaft.

This durable tool has a 6061 T6 aluminum body,
and a steel handle that slides to position it for better torque.
